A:
Your skin is made up of two layers – the outer lying epidermis
and the underlying dermis. It is the dermis that is of
concern when considering the prevention and repair of stretch
marks. The dermis is comprised mainly of connective
tissue, which consists of the proteins collagen and elastin.
Stretch marks arise when there is a deficiency in collagen and
elastin. Specifically, during periods of rapid growth
the skin’s stretching proteins, Collagen and Elastin, are
unable to withstand the rapid expansion resulting in the
formation of tiny tears. When these small tears heal,
scar tissue forms causing rippled, discolored striae, or
stretch marks. The secret behind Striaex's powerful
healing action comes from a breakthrough in cosmetic chemistry
known as Strioxyl-10 which actually increases collagen elastin
production. This both prevents and heals stretch marks.
There are various other ingredients such Vitamin C and

Nuance Labs. Strioxyl-10 refers to a unique concentrated
formula consisting of 10 powerful tissue regenerating
components. Strioxyl-10 acts on many levels and has
multiple active components, but one of the most unique
constituents with respect to stretch mark repair and
prevention actually comes from yeast. To simplify how
something found all around us can actually heal damaged tissue
such as stretch marks, we can begin with some basic biology.
There are two types of cells in nature, prokaryotic and
eukaryotic. Prokaryotic cells are those such as bacteria
while eukaryotic cells are those found in plants and animals.
